V.O.A.G.

Veteran's Outdoor Adventures Group

The bond among United States veterans starts with a room full of strangers raising their right hands, and swearing an allegiance to the United States of America. THe Veteran's Outdoor Adventures Group (V.O.A.G.) which was created, and is operated by and for Veterans, has established a goal to continue to facilitate that bond by supporting United States Armed Force Veterans in their adjustment back in to society, by way of outdoor adventures. V.O.A.G wants to keep veterans' adventures going in a positive direction, by continuing to provide the environment for one to derive satisfaction from the camaraderie shared in the great outdoors of the American Southwest with other veterans. Some of the outdoor programs offered by V.O.A.G. include, but are not limited to, fly-fishing, horse-back riding, four-wheel-drive tours, and rock climbing. Because veterans believe that they are no longer individuals, but rather they're life-long members of a life-changing community, we at V.O.A.G. are committed to providing positive, life-enhancing experiences for our brothers and sisters of the Armed Forces.

V.O.A.G. can achieve the goal of providing quality, positive adventures to veterans by soliciting, fund-raising, and networking with other non-profit organizations and private charities, in addition to receiving government financial support. VeteranÕs Outdoor Adventures Group has their base of operation located in Maricopa County, Arizona. Their outdoor services will primarily be in Arizona, however, they may from time-to-time, offer outdoor adventures outside of the state, provided that the rights and powers granted to non-profit corporations by law, and which are consistent with the 501(c) 3 exemption granted by the Internal Revenue Service, allow us to do so.
